LUKEWARM IN LAODICEA – Revelation 3:14-22

Theme: The church that is faithful to Jesus—though rejected by men—is accepted by Him.
Theme: A church can look outwardly alive to the world, but be dead in the sight of the Lord.
Theme: We cannot effectively deal with the troubles of life until we bring them to Jesus.
Theme: The best place to go when we have doubts about Jesus is to the feet of Jesus Himself.
Theme: The holy Son of God loves the purity of His church, and promises to deal with any ‘hidden’ immorality that He sees within it.
Theme: We must ‘look to ourselves’—lest we be drawn away from faithfulness to the biblical testimony of Jesus, and thus lose eternal reward!
Theme: The church that suffers persecution for Christ is pleasing to Him; and receives His commendation and encouragement.
Theme: The writer exhorts his readers to be faithful to Jesus by reminding them of the nature of faith.
