Colossians

Theme: Our guiding principle is this: “Do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Theme: God wants us to be a church family that is abundantly saturated with His word.

Theme: Our renewal in Christ sets us free to "put on" Christ-like behaviors toward one another.

Theme: Having trusted Christ as our Savior, we must ‘put off’ the sins He died to save us from, and lay them aside.

Theme: The kind of life we live is to be forever changed by the fact of our having raised with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Theme: Having been set free through Christ, we must never again allow ourselves to be wrapped up in the chains of spiritual bondage.

Theme: We have been raised up from the dead together with Jesus unto a completely new life.

Theme: This passage teaches us about the spiritual impact that the death of Jesus on the cross has upon us.

Theme: Our experience of Christ’s sufficiency depends on our faithfulness to ‘walk’ in Him continually.

Theme: What Paul sought to protect in the church at Colossae teaches us what we should seek to protect in our own church family.
